The last woman chosen for this honor was Cheri Folk, who has been an outstanding example for women and girls for the entire north coast of Oregon.

Cheri, unexpectedly died after a short illness in 2019. It had been our intention to recognize her in the spring of 2020 with a large gala recognition at the Seaside Convention Center. This was postponed because of covid in both 2020 and 2021. Subsequently, we have decided to award a $1000 in her name in the spring of 2022.
